Iliff held a prayer vigil yesterday over the ruling of Judicial Council Decision 1032. It was nice to be a part of some sort of prayerful responce to this gross injustice.

So, why can't the bishops just overrule the judicial council? A little too abrupt/likely to cause a bigger fracture/sets a bad precedent? I suppose we need to be in ministry to all of ourselves, both in and out of the church, including those of us who are conservatives.
Ya know... I was just telling my young sons this weekend (coincidentally) that Jesus was killed because he preached against people who concentrated on following The Rules while forgetting love.
